Synopsis: A one hour special aired on the Discovery Health Channel chronicling Gil's weight loss over a year after him undergoing a Mini Gastric Bypass procedure (MGB). Gil weighed in the region of 350lbs (25st) before the MGB and over the following year he lost 140lbs and got down to 210lbs (15st).

Some of the photos of Gil that were used during Action Hero Makeover, spanning from the 70's to the 90's. They don't have the clarity of the original photos, as they are screen caps taken from 'AHM'.
